Green computing for iot - software approach

چکیده

More efficient usage of limited energy resources on embedded platforms, found in various IoT applications, is identified as a universal challenge designing such devices and systems. Although many power management techniques for control optimization device consumption have been introduced at the hardware software level, only few them are addressing operation application level. In this paper, engineering approach managing edge presented. This involves set application-level parameters that affect its real-time behavior. To investigate illustrate impact performance footprint, we utilize custom-built simulation environment. The results obtained from analyzing simplified data producer-consumer configuration tier, under push-based communication model, confirm careful tuning can lead to more end-device operation.
